The Vision
The owners of this 18th-century farmhouse needed a landscape that respected the property's history while providing modern functionality for large gatherings. The existing terrain was steep and unusable.
We terraced the slope with native fieldstone walls to create expansive flat lawn areas and a multi-level bluestone patio that overlooks the Delaware River valley.
The Process
Merging historical integrity with modern engineering.
01. The Context
The design had to complement the scale and history of the main residence, creating a seamless transition between the home and the new outdoor living areas.
02. Craftsmanship
Hand-crafted timber framing and custom tongue-and-groove ceilings create a warm, cathedral-like atmosphere, complete with integrated heating and entertainment.
03. The Experience
A fully functional outdoor great room that effortlessly hosts large gatherings, proving that luxury and livability can go hand in hand.
